Connecting YouTube is optional — QuickPics makes your slideshow whether or not you connect anything. You only sign in with Google if you want QuickPics to publish a finished slideshow to your own YouTube channel for you, instead of downloading it and uploading it yourself.
When you choose to connect, QuickPics requests a single YouTube permission:
